Improvements- Bryson Street
Ms. Katz explained the issue and gave background of it to the Traffic Committee. Mr.
Wrzesniewsky addressed the issue with the Traffic Committee and gave a description
of the area. Parking and pedestrian safety are a concern of his and his neighbors.
Drivers are running over his and Ms. O'Connell's sprinkler heads and water lines. Mr.
Wrzesniewsky's driveway has been blocked in on several occasions. He then
described drivers who have completed hit and runs in the area. Ms. O'Connell and Lt.
Hollywood discussed the series of events of the accident at her house. Ms. O'Connell,
Ms. Katz, and Mr. Wasp discussed the Town's right of way and the placement of her
sprinkler systems. Chair Block reminded those at the meeting to only discuss relevant
Traffic Committee issues.
Mr. Wrzesniewsky and Ms. Katz discussed why the parking was changed on Bryson
Street. Ms. Katz said she saw many children walking toward Murray Avenue School in
the street so there is a need for sidewalks; Chair Block and Mr. Wasp discussed what
factors would effect sidewalks. Ms. Katz and Lt. Hollywood discussed yellow stripping
in front of Mr. Wrzesniewsky's house. Ms. Katz supported the installation of a
sidewalk as a way to relief the issue of drivers parking on the Town's Right of Way
and to increase pedestrian safety. Mr. Wasp suggested either taking away parking on
both sides or making the road a one way road.
Ms. Katz said she did witness several left turns onto Murray. Mr. Wasp addressed
when a possible sidewalk could be installed. Ms. O'Connell discussed installing
curbing herself, and Mr. Wasp described the process of how to install the curbing and

Ms. O'Connell and Mr. Wrzesniewsky reviewed their communication between them
and the school. The principle was unable to assist them with parents parking on the
Town's right of way. Councilman King said to present what was presented that
evening to the Town Board for them to decide what next steps could be done. He also
suggested speaking with the Superintendent of School to discuss the issue. The
Traffic Committee reviewed different community groups facilitated by the schools.
