The meeting vraw called to order by Supervisor Burton
at 9 P.IL
Present: Supervisor Burton
Justices Collins,. ar_d Yessersmith
Superintendent of Highways Coles
Town Clerk Marvin
The minutes of the meetings of July 3&, 29 and Lugust
9th were read by the Clerk and approved.
Superintendent Coles reported orally concerning a
letter from F. 0. Parsons, 267 Foreat Avenue, Larchmont,
regarding damage done to galls of his house by blasting irr
connection with the improvement of Forest Avenue, which letter
eras presented to the Joint Town Board at its meeting of August
9th. He said that only slight damage had been done, that the
cost Was not large and that the Contractors, Petrillo and Bianchi,
would pay the costs..
Superintendent Coles spoke in connection with the -R�cking-
stone A-:enue Extension and submitted a form of release for change
of grade as prepared by Counsel for improving said street and
said that copies of the release were now in the hands of some of
the affected property owners for the purpose of securing signaturese
Upon motion by Justice IJ2essersmith, seconded..by Justice
-- Collins, it w as unanimously
PESOINEED, that this Board approve the form of
release submitted by Superintendent Coles for the
Rockingstone Avenue Extension and tnat this Board
tape no action on the petition of dedication until
all the oviners of property affected by this improve-
ment sign this release.
Superintendent. Coles likerise submitted a request: signed
by the residents of the Rockingstone Avenue Extension asking that
no sidewalks be Placed in the street and that it be not ;widened.
The request vas ordered received and placed on file.
Upon motion by Justice I�essersD4 t�1, seconded by the Clerk
it was upon roll call unanimously
R-TSOD=, that the Superintendent of- Highwaya
be and he hereby is authorized and emoo-;eyed to
enter in On Rockingstone Avenue Extension and to
install thereon any municipal services that he
in his discretion may deem necessary.
Superintendent Coles recommended that the Joint. Town
Board hold a special meeting to inspect the Town Highvrays and poop_
used improvements.
Ulaon motion by Superintendent. Coles, seconded by Justice

RESOLVIF.D, that the Joint. Town Board held a special
Meeting on Iaonday August 25th at I P. M. at the
Larchmont Arcade �uilcLjrg to inspect the town
hightiwaya and proposed improvements and that the

nvite Hovrard P. Barnes, Deputy County Engineer
to accom.0any the Board.
The Clerk read- a commu�ication from Charles Mac Ronald,
County Engineer, dated August 19, 1930, submitting plans and
estimates for the construction. of Mamaroneck Road (Old aWhite
Plains Road) as County Road #95. The letter was ordered received
and placed on Tile.
The Clerk read a letter addressed to Superintendent of
Highways Coles by P_'oward P. Barnes, Deputy County Engineer, in
regard to the bridge on Rockland Avenue over the Sheldrake River.
after discussion the letter eras ordered received, placed on file
and the Clerk directed to reply that because of proposed develp-
ments •:which might include the area of the proposed bridge, the
matter will be held in abeyance for the time being.
In connection with the special meeting on August 25th
for the inspection of town roads, it waa upon meson by Justice
lessersini th, seconded by the Clerk upon roll call unanimously
RPSOLVEDO, that Superintendent Coles be and
he hereby is directed to provide transportation
for the Joint Town Board for this inepection of
roads.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned at 10:45 P. K.
