Y. held February 21st, 1931 The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton a t 4 P. V. Present: Supervisor Burton Justices Boyd, Leeds and Yessersmith Superintendent Coles Town Cler'� Yarvin The presence was also noted of Counselor Gamble and Special Counselor Gagliardi. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to dispense tririth the reading of the minutes of meetings not yet aDnroved. The Clerk reported that there were no communications to be presented to the Board. Special Counselor Gagliardi addressed the Board and stated he thought certain adjustments should be made in regard to allocating the costs against the affected property in the improvement of the Iiaple Hill Development, Second Section. He suggested that a special committee be appointed for this purpose. Upor_ motion by Justice Deeds, seconded by Justice Yessersmith, it was unanimously resolved that the Supervisor appoint such a committee. The Supervisor thereupon appointed to this committee Justices Leeds, Lesaerwmith and Boyd. Superintendent Coles addressed the Board concerning: the lowlying portion of the Post. Road at the intersection of ':Deaver Street and stated that a new standard size (4*x 41) culvert ,which the state proposed to install at that'- point could not be enought-to care for the flow of water. After considerable discussion it eras upon motion by Justice Bedda seconded by Justice Ilessersmith, upon roll call unanimously ZE-SOLV21D, that the Joint Torn Board approve the suggestion ofTIr. Coles in regard to a culvert at the Post Road, and Weave-r Street and that the Special Committee heretofore appointed to consider this matter be and it hereby is authorized, empowered and directed to appear before the State Highway Commissioner at Albany to request a larger culvert and that the Cler_z be and he hereby is made a member of this committee in addition to the original members, namely Justices Yessersmith, Leeds and Superintendent Coles. Justice Leeds reported on behalf of the Dillon Park Fire and °°+rater Situation Committee saying that the co=ftitt.ee had received bids for the installation of a 14 inch mater main from Fifth ?venue to the south side of County Road No. 67-2; that the tzo most favorable bids had been submitted by the '<restchester Joint Water Works, Yo. 1 and Michael Marinelli, the Contractor who is a.t present installing that section of the Pine Brook drain; and that the committee recommended accepting the estimate of Kichael Tiarinelli. �f After discussion it v,,ras upon motion by Justice Leeds seconded by Justice Boyd, upon roll call unanimously H, TS.OLVE1], that the Pine Brook gain Commission be and it hereby is requested to make a contract with Lichael Marinelli for the installation of a 14 inch eater main at Fifth Avenue to the south side of County Road No.. 67-2 in accordance with his estimate, said contract to be acceptable to Counselor Gamble; and be it further RIESOLV=r that the cost thereof be paid by the To7n to the Pine Brook gain Commission on demand, subject to the approval of Counselor Gamble as to financing.. The Supervisor announced that he wished to appoint the Special Committ-e called for by resolution of the Joint Town Board at its meeting on 7ebruary 20th to investigate the question of a suitable building and site therefor for storing and housing the equipment used by the Highway Department. He thereupon appointed to this committee Justice ITessersmith, Clerk Marvin and Justice heeds together with Superintendent Coles.
