The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton
at 2:15 P. I.L.
Present : Supervisor Burton
Justices Boyd, Collins and Howell
Superintendent of Highways Coles
Torn Clerk Sherman
Counsellor Gamble
Special Counsellor Gagliardi
.engineers Duffy, Foote and Armstrong.
Engineer Duffy submitted a report covering the bids
for the improvements of Harmon Drive, Garden Road and Rockland
Avenue.
After consideration, upon motion, duly seconded, it was,
upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Highways,
RESOLVED, that the bid of ?red Lux, in the
sum of $71,913.45, embracing all of
the work for the improvement of Harmon
Drive, Garden Road and Rockland Avenue,
in accordance with the plans and specific-
ations prepared by the engineer, be and
the same hereby is accepted, and the Contract
for said improvement is hereby accordingly
awarded to Fred Lax; and it was further

RESOLVED, that the Torn Clerk, be and hereby
is authorized and empowered to return to the
unsuccessful bidders their respective cheeks;
and it was further
RESOLVED, that Counsel be and he hereby is
requested to prepare and have executed, .on
behalf of said Fred Lux, a contract covering
said improvements•, and it was further
RESOLVED, that the Supe-xvisor and Town Clerk
be and they hereby are authorized and empowered
to execut4 said contract on behalf of the Torn
of Yamaroneck; and it was further
RESOLVED, that the action of the Supervisor in
employing t.-,e services of Engineer James lbuffy
for said work, be and the same hereby is ratified
and confirmed.
The question of the adoption of the foregoing resolutions
was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
Ayes: six
Noes: none
Engineer Foote then submitted a tabulatdd report cover-
ing the bids received for the improvement and installation of
sidewalks in and along Weaver Suet, together with the inter-
sections along said street.
After consideration, it was, upon motion, duly seconded,
and upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Highways,
RESOLVED, that the bid of i:Talloy Brothers,
in the sum of $43,,901.94, em'6racing all of
the work under sections A, E and C, contract
? (for the im-Provement and installation of
sidewUks in and along Weaver Street, together
with the street intersections) be and the same
hereby is accepted and the contract for said
improvement is accordingly awarded to Iyalloy
Brothers; and it was further
' ILESOLVI`D} that the Town Clerk be and hereby
is authorized and empowered to return to the
unsuccessful bidders their respective checks;
and it was further
RE'SOLII D, that Counsel be and he hereby is
requested to prepare and have executed, on
behalf of said Z;alloy Brothers, a contract
covering said improvements; and it was further
RESOLVF'D, that the Supervisor and Town Clerk
be and they hereby are authorized and empowered
to execute said contract on behalf of the Town
Of Kamaroneck; and it was further
fZF.SOLVED, that the action of the Supervisor in
employing the services of Engineer Foote, for
said work, be and the same hereby is ratified
and confirmed.
The question of the adoption of the foregoing resolutions
