Present: Supervisor Burton Justices Collins, Hortell and Leeds Superintendent of Highways Coles Town Clerk Sherman Counsellor Gamble Upon motion, duly seconded, it was voted to dispense with the reading of the minutes of meetings not yet approved. A petition from the tax payers residing on Barnum Road and i!ulbe:-ry Lane, was received and read, requesting that action be taken to make said roads passable. The petition was ordered received, placed on file and referred to the Supervisor and Superintendent of Highways with paver. A petition from the ta,.*- payers residing on Briarcliff Road, was received and read, requesting that action be taken to make said street passable. The petition was ordered received, placed on file and referred to the Supervisor and Superintendent of Highways with power. A co=unication from the Association of the Woods of Larchmant was received and read, enclosing a resolution adopted recommending certain recommendations in relation to the grading and paving of Chatsworth Avenue and :.Murray Avenue. The communication together with the petition was ordered received, place=d on file and referred to the Supervisor and Superintendent of Highways for their attention. The Supervisor requested that proper action be taken, authorizing the installation of street lights on uyrtle Avenue, westerly from Chatsworth Avenue. Upon m-otion, duly seconded, it was RBSCLVED, that the Supervisor and Super- intendent of Highways be and they hereby are authorized and empowered to arrange for the installation of street lighting of a type similar to that now in use.in and around the Town Station Park., on 1yrtle Avenue, west of Chatsworth Avenue to the end of the proposed new road improvement thereon, upon terms within their discretion and when said terms are deter- mined and fixed, to so re;)ort back to this Board. Yr. Campbell appeared before the Board in relation to the acceptance of his private street as -a Town Highway. `Lhe matter was fully discussed and referred back to Counsel for the submission of proper contracts and resolutions. 263 In accofdance with the action of this Board heretofore taken, the Supervisor appointed the following committee to meet with the Trustees of the property at the Triangle at Weaver Street and :Palmer Avenue.
