The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton
at 10:45 P.

Upon motion, duly seconded, it was voted to dis-pence
with the reading of the minutes of meetings not yet approved.
The Board took up for consideration and discussion,
the question of the type of pavement to be used in the construct-
ion at 11aple Hills Drive and after due consideration, it was
upon motion, duly seconded,
RESOLVED, that the subject matter of type
of pavement tg/oe used in the construction
of the roadway in Haple Hill Drive, be and
the same hereby is referred to a committee
with power to act therein to the best int-
erests of the Town.
â The Supervisor thereupon appointed the following com-
mittee. Superintendent of Highways Coles, and Justice Leeds.
A Communication from Mrs. A. P. Deacon of Lraple Hill
Drive, was received and read, relating to the condition of said
street.
The Supervisor stated that he had seen Nrs. Deacon and
had informed her of the work in progress and contemplated.
The report was ordered noted in the minutes and the
co=unication placed on file.
A co2rmunicati.o:n from the 'Westchester Lighting Company,
vvas received and read relating to a payment of $1,100 due to said
company for the installation of five traffic signals.
The communication was ordered received and placed on
file, and referred to the Supervisor together with Justice Leeds
for report thereon.
The Clerk stated that Ex. Lawson had requested the
installation of Street lights on Avon Road, formerly Nobles Avenue.
After due consideration, and upon the recommendation of
the Superintendent of Highways, it was upon motion, duly seconded,
RESOLVED, that the Westchester Lighting Company
be, and it hereby is authorized and directed to
install for the Town of 1-famaroneck, 12 street
lights on Avon Road, formerly Nobles avenue, said
street lights including the amount of candle
Bower to be installed under the supervision and
irea on of the Superintendent of Highways.
The Supervisor stated that it would be advisable to con-
struct all intersecting streets, intersecting with rIeaver Street,
with a permanent road..
After; due consideration, and upon the recommendation,
of the Superintendent of Highways, it. was. upon motion* duly
seconded,
R7 -'D, that the State Department of Public
Works, be requested to prepare and submit to
this Board, plans, Profiles and specifications,,
and estimate of cost for the construction of the
intersections of all streets intersecting with
:leaver Street, known as County Highway No. 1645,
from i;urray Avenue, southerly to the Boston Post
Road, in the Town of Mamaroneck, said intersections
to be so designed as to have round returns; and it
is further
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk be requested to
forward a certified cony of this resolution te-
the State Department of Public Works, at Pough-
keepsie, IT. Y. , and to Charles He Donald, -7sq.,
County Engineer.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned at 11:15 P. M.
