The meeting was cfLIed to order by Supervisor Burton
at 10 P.. Y.
Present: Supervisor Burton.
Justices Howell and Leeds
Superintendent of Highways Coles
Town Clerk Sherman
Counsellor Gamble
Upon raotion, duly seconded, it was voted to dispense with
the reading of the minutes of meetings not yet approved.
A communication from the Colonial Park and 11eighborhood
Association was received and read, requesting the installation of
one light on Holly Place and one light on Crest Avenue.
The communication was ordered received, placed on file
and u_aon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Highways,
it was
RESOLEI , that the Westchester Lighting
Company be and it hereby is requested and
directed to install one light on Holly
_ Place, 2.bout 150 feet from Forest Avenue,
and one light on Crest Avenue, about
midway between Rockland avenue and Holly
Place, said installation to be under the
supervision and direction of the Superintend-
ent of Highways.
A communication from the Larchmont Knolls Association
was received and read, requesting the erection of seven street
signs in La.rchmont Knolls.
They also submitted a sketch of an artistic sign which
costs a-oproximately $15.50 each.
They requested that the Town Board install said signs
and that the Association .would pay the difference in costs of
the regulation signs installed elsewhere.
the communication and sketch were ordered placed on file
and upon motion, duly seconded, it was
RESOLVE, that the matter of.:street signs
for Larchriont Knolls be and the sauce hereby
is approved and referred to the committee on
street signs with power, provided that the
cost of said signs does not exceed the sum
of 363.00 in total, and further provided that
when said signs are delivered, the same shall
be e•reeted under the supervision and direction
of the Superintendent of Highways.
A communication from Ur. C. W. iioody was received and
read, requesting the installation of two 100 c. p. lights on Althea
Lane.
The communication was ordered received, placed on file
and referred to the Superintendent of Highways: for his report and
recorsmendation.

The Clerk Dresented the Superintendent's estimate in the
sum of p2,6-96.12, for the installation of 600 feet of 6 inch distrib-
ution main on Valley Stream Road, from Fast Brookside Drive, to
the end of the street, together with one hydrant along said
extension.
The Superintendent's estimate was ordered received and
placed on file.
UFDon motion, duly seconded, it was
R'SOLVBD, IS, the Hoard of Trustees of
the Westchester Joint `auater :'corks, No. 1, has
submitted an estimate in the sum of ;2,696.12,
as the cost of installing 600 feet of 6 inch
distribution main, on Valley Stream Road, from
East Brookside Drive to the end of the street,.
together with one hydrant along said extension,
therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the said Westchester Joint 1,ater
Works, 'Yo. 1, be and it hereby is requested to
install for the Toirn of Mamaroneck, said gain,
and to charge the Town of 1amaroneck, the
actual cost thereof, as ascertained and approved
by the Board of Trustees of said Idestchester
Joint IIa,ter S7orks, Io. 1..
The Clerk presented the Superintendent's estimate in the
sum of 51,966.30, for the installation of 1,200 feet of 6 inch
distribution main as follows: 450 feet on Locust Ridge Road and
750 feet on Knollwood Drive, together with two hydrants along
said extension.
The Superintendent's estimate was ordered received and
iblaced on file.
Upon motion, duly sedonded, it was
RESOLVED, dHE-REPAS, the Board of Trustees of
the Westchester Joint 7;Liater tuorks, No. 1, has
submitted an estimate in the sum of �1,966d.30
as the wet of installing 1,200 feet of 6 inch
distribution main as follows: 450 feet an
Locust Ridge Road and 750 feet on Knolluvood
Drive, together with two hydrants along said
extension, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the said Westchester Joint
Water Works, 1o. 1, be and it hereby is
requested to install for the Town of Kamaroneck
said main, and to charge the Town of Yamaroneck
actual cost thereof as ascertained and
approved by the Board of Trustees of Zaid
Westchester Joint Water Works, 21:1o. 1, provided
however, that the developer will do the excavat-
ing at his own expense as a contribution towards
the cost of the installation.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned at 10:45 P. H.
