Up On motion duly seconded, it ryas voted, to diepense with the real,"Ung of minutes of meetings not yet approved. A corm-Unioation was received and read, from ''Mrs. 'T. S. Morford of Gvit Street, Colonial Park requesting water extensions on Summit Street and Highland Avenue, 'The Clerk was instructed to reply stating that ina.Qmlch as the above nosed streets are not town high-rays that the Board is without jurisdiction in demo iding water main extensions therein. "The matter of the petition of the New Rochelle Realty Co. for the acceptasace of two streets in Larchmont Hills, calleA Echo Lane and Hillside Road was presented by the Supervisor, and the matter ryas voted laid over for a future meeting. The report of the Superintendent of Highways for the month Of January showing the cork performed, for said ;Period was received, read, noted in the minutes and ordered placed on file. The Superintendent of Highr:ays stated that he contemplated purchasing, 12 inch severer pipe from the New York Inter-Urban Water Co. for the p' --*pose of laying drains at a price of $74.41 per ton. Upon scotiM duly seconded, it was RESOLYEID, that the Superintendent of Highways be authorized and emPOwered to plzrchase the required amount of 12 inch sewer pipe at the Price of $74.41 per ton., The matter of increase iv- water rates was then taken up by the Board and after discussion, the following resolution was upon ROLL `CALL unanimously adopted; RESOLYT"L, that it is the sense of this Beard that the increase in water rates demanded by the MeT York Inter Urban Water 00. is un- reasonable and that game should be resisted, and rsppased by the municipalities interested; there- fore be it RESOL'C), that it is the sense of this Board that all the xnanic ipali ties affected she ld act in C=Jur:ctiOn in this matter and to th-at end the Supervisor is hereby authorized to represent the town in CO-Qpera,ticin with the officials of other municipalities and to employ Counsel and experts on behalf of the Town of Uarna,roneck.
