Town of Mamaroneck
held October 3rd, 1923.
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton at
9.35 P.M.
PRESENT: Supervisor Burton,
Justices Boyd, Collins, Dudley and Shafer,
Superintendent of Highways Coles,
Town Clerk Sherman.
The minutes of the meetings of August 15th and September
5th, 1925 were read and upon motion approved.
A communication from the Westchester Lighting Company was
received and read, in relation to the resolution requesting the ex-
tension of gas mains on Myrtle Avenue, asking for an established
grade and also inquiring whether Myrtle Avenue is a public highway.
A communication was ordered, received, filed and referred to the
Superintendent of Highways for reply
Mr. Michael Crimmins was present at the meeting and in-
quired as to what action has been taken relating to the extension
of gas mains on Myrtle Avenue. The Supervisor replied, stating
that he has had several conferences with the officials of the
Westchester Lighting Company and they have assured him that the
installation of the gas mains on said street, will be laid in the
very near future.
Mr. Joseph Felice of Maple Avenue appeared before the
Board in relation to a sewer connection on his property. He was
instructed to make application to the Sewer Commissioner of the
Town for said connection.
The matter of laying a supply line on the Boston Post
Road, which had been considered in the Health Board meeting, was
taken up and upon the recommendation of Dr. Bullard, it was upon
ROLL CALL unanimously
RESOLVED, that the New York Inter-Urban
Water Company be and hereby is requested,
required and directed to lay a supply main
on the Boston Post Road from the end of
the present main, fronting on Dr. Mead's
property in a westerly direction to the
boundary line of the Village of Larchmont
and Town of Mamaroneck.
The question of the highway question was then discussed,
and it was
VOTED to hold the annual Town Highway In-
spection on Saturday, October 6th, 1923,
at 2.30 P.M.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned at 10.30 P.M.
