TOWN OF MAMARONECK
held May 16th,1923.
In the absence of Supervisor Burton, the meeting was
called to order by Justice Boyd at 9.30 P.M.
PRESENT: Justices Boyd, Collins, Dudley and Shafer.
Town Clerk Sherman
Counsellor Gamble.
A communication from the Colonial Park and Neighborhood
Association was received and read relating to the possibilities
of danger existing at the corner of Murray and Forest Avenue, the
view of said crossing being obstructed by the rocks on the north-
east corner of said crossing. The matter was referred to the
Superintendent of Highways and the Supervisor to report back.
A communication from the New Rochelle Realtor Company
was received and read making application for the installment of
water main to supply houses now under construction on Edgewood
Road and Chatsworth Avenue.
Upon motion duly seconded, it was, upon ROLL CALL
RESOLVED that the New York Inter Urban Water Company
be and it hereby is requested, reouired and directed
to extend its water mains in and along Edgewood
Road from the end of the present proposed
extension on said road, a distance of 500
feet and to install one hydrant on said
extension, and it was further
RESOLVED that the Clerk be directed to send
certified copy of this resolution to the
Water Company.
A communication from Mr. Albert Wilson was received,
asking for an extension of the water main by the water company
along Rockland Avenue, his house being within the Town of
Mamaroneck and the extension of said water main being within the
Village of Mamaroneck. The Board VOTED that the matter be referred
to Supervisor and Town Clerks and the Clerk was directed to
acknowledge receipt of the communication.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned at 10.20 P.M.
