TOWN OF MAMARONECK
held March 7th, 1923.
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton
at 9.15 P.M.
PRESENT: Supervisor Burton
Justices Boyd, Collins and Dudley
Superintendent of Highways Anthes.
Town Clerk Sherman.
Upon motion duly seconded, it was VOTED that the
minutes of February 14th be approved as printed.
Superintendent of Highways Anthes presented his report
for the month of February 1923, showing the amount of work done
in his department for that period. The report was ordered received
and placed on file.
A communication from Mrs. Frank Haugelstine complaining
of the culvert in front of her property on Palmer Avenue was re-
ceived and read. The communication was ordered placed on file and
the matter referred to the Superintendent of Highways to remedy
the condition existing. The Clerk was instructed to notify the
writer of the action taken.
After discussion and consideration of the advisability
of petitioning the Board of Supervisors for the necessity of
having Fenimore Road improved and taken over as a County Highway
beginning at the Boston Poet Road (State Highway route # )
to Griffen Avenue in the Town of Scarsdale, to Weaver Street
(State Highway route # ), also if possible to include Griffen
Avenue from the intersection of Fenimore Road easterly to Old
White Plains Road, it was
VOTED that proper application and
petition be drawn and the Supervisor
be authorized to present same to the
Villages of Mamaroneck and Scarsdale.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned at 9.50 P.M.
