HomeMy WebLinkAbout1922_02_01 Town Board Minutes (2) Meeting of the Joint Town Board, TOWN OF MAMARONECK, held, February 1st, 1922. The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton at 8.50 P.M. PRESENT: Supervisor Burton, Justices Boyd, Collins and Dudley, Supt. of Highways Anthes, Town Clerk Sherman. Upon motion the minutes of the meeting of January 4th 1922 was read and approved. Supt.of Highways Anthes submitted his report for the month of January, 1922 which upon motion, was received, read, ordered placed on file and is as follows; January 31, 1922 To the Honorable Board, Town of Mamaroneck, Mamaroneok, New York. Gentlemen; I herewith respectfully submit my report as Supt. of Highways for work performed in the Department for the period extending from January 1st to January 31st, 1922 as follows: Cleaned brook running from Hillerest Avenue to Myrtle Avenue. Removed ice and snow from highways. Reduced labor wages to fifty cents per hour. Respectfully submitted, Sgnd, Frederick A. Anthes. The matter of insuffietent street lights on Edgewood Avenue was taken up and discussed and upon motion dzly seconded it was RESOLVED, UPON ROLL CALL, that the Supt. of Highways be and hereby is authorized and instructed to notify the Westchester Lighting Company to have a light installed on Edgewood Avenue between Edgewood Place and Judson Street. Upon action duly seconded it was VOTED, tr at the Supt of Highways be and he hereby is authorized and directed to procure bids on stone, tarvia and cinders. Upon motion, the meeting adjourned at 9.30 P.M. Town Clerk.
