TOWN OF MAMARONECK,
held, January 4th, 1922.
The meeting was called to birder by Supervisor Burton
at 9.45 P.M.
PRESENT: Supervisor Burton,
Justices Boyd, Collins and Dudley,
Supt of Highways Anthes,
Town Clerk Sherman,
Counsellor Gamble.
Upon motion, the minutes of the meeting of December 7th
1921 were read and approved.
Supt.of Highways Anthes submitted his report for the
month of December, 1921, which upon motion, was received, read,
ordered placed on file and is as follows;
January 4th, 1922
To the Honorable Town Board,
Town of Mamaroneck,
Mamaroneck, New York.
Gentlemen:
I herewith respectfully submit my report as Supt. of
Highways for work performed in the Department for the period
extending from December 1st,1921 to December 31st, 1921 as
follows;
Cleaned and repaired all catch basins on Highways.
Patched Weaver Street with tarvia and blue stone.
Raked and burned leaves on several streets.
Repaired sidewalks and street signs.
Removed ice and snow from highway.

A communication from the New York Inter Urban Water Co.
was received and read stating their inability to extend the water
main on Beech Street off Myrtle Avenue and giving the estimated
cost of same. Same was ordered placed on file.
Mr. Goode of the Larchmont Gardens Association was
present and requested the Town Board to employ an Engineer in
relation to accepting an outlet from the Larchmont Gardens to
Weaver Street through the property of Mr.Heather.
Upon motion duly seconded it was
RESOLVED, that the matter of the
Larchmont Gardens outlet to Weaver
Street through Mr. Heathers property
be referred to the Supt.of Highways
with power to consult an Engineer
and it was further
RESOLVED, that a Committee of the Town
Board meet and confer with those inter-
ested at the property.
The question being taker, upon the foregoing resolution
same was upon ROLL CALL, unanimously adopted.
The Supervisor thereupon appointed the following Comm-
ittee; Messrs. Dudley, Shafer and Collins.
The Supt.of Highways stated the need of a hydrant at the
corner of Hillside and Briarcliff Road and upon his recommnendation
it was
RESOLVED, that the Supt.of Highways
be and he hereby is authorized and
directed to request the New York
Inter Urban Water Company to have a
hydrant installed at the junction of
Hillside and Briarcliff Roads.
The question being taken upon the foregoing resolutions
same was upon ROLL CALL, unanimouslys adopted.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned at 10.40 P.M.
