TOWN OF MAMARONECK,
held, November 2nd, 1921.
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton at
8.30 P.M.
PRESENT: Supervisor Burton,
Justices, Boyd, Collins and Dudley
Supt. of Highways Anthes,
Town Clerk Sherman,
Counsellor Gamble.
Upon motion, it was voted to dispense with the reading
of minutes of meetings not yet approved
Upon motion, duly seconded it was voted that the del-
egation present, be given the privilege of being heard.
The following delegation was present, Messrs, Addor,
Stouter, Dorland, Fogarty and Mrs. Farrell presented a petition
from the residents of Colonial Park requesting the installation
of water mains and three fire hydrants on Forest Avenue from
Weaver Street through to Rockland Avenue.
The Supervisor explained the several meetings
he had with the officials of the water company and stated the
substance of said meetings.
Upon motion, duly seconded, it was
VOTED, that the petition be received
filed with the Clerk and noted in the
minutes. CARRIED.
Supt. of Highways Anthes submitted his report for the
month of October, 1921, which upon motion, was received, read,
ordered placed on file and is as follows:

To the Honorable Town Board,
Town of Mamaroneck, N.Y.
Gentlemen:
I herewith respectfully submit my report as Supt. of High-
ways for work performed in this Department for the period extending
from October 1st, 1921, to October 31st, 1921, as follows:
Completed work on Chatsworth Avenue.
Graded Colwell Avenue with dirt and stone.
Cleaned catch basins in Larchmont Gardens.
Cleaned gutter on Palmer Avenue and Edgewood Road, also
Chestnut and Hillcrest Avenue.
Working on Edgewood Road extension.
Respectfully submitted,

A communication with certified resolution attached from
the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors relative to apportionment of
motor vehicle fees, showing the appointment for the Town of
Mamaroneck as being $3,706.99 was received and read, ordered noted
in the minutes and placed on file with the Clerk.
The Clerk reported the receipt of bids for the laying of
a sidewalk on Premium River Road in Dillon Park and upon motion,
duly seconded, it was
VOTED, that the Joint Town Board now
proceed to open the bids received.
The Clerk thereupon proceded to open the bids which were
as follows:
Michael Doherty $.50 a square foot.
Michael Decicco $.50 a square foot.
Upon the recommendation of the Supt. of Highways, it was
RESOLVED, that the contract for the con-
struction of a sidewalk on Premium River
Road, Dillon Park be awarded to Mr. Doherty
and that the Supervisor and Town Clerk
be authorized and empowered to take the
necessary steps to have the contract ful-
filled and bond filed as prescribed in
the specifications, upon the approval of
Counsel.
The question being taken upon the foregoing resolution,
same was upon ROLL CALL, unanimously adopted.
The Clerk was instructed to return the check of the un-
successful bidder.
The Clerk reported receiving a complaint of lights on
Valley Road and upon motion, duly seconded, it was
VOTED, that the Supt. of Highways be and
he hereby is authorized and empowered to
take up with the Westchester Lighting Co.
the mater of having a light installed on
Valley Road.
CARRIED.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned at 9.45 P.M.
