TOWN OF MAMARONECK,
held February 16th, 1921.
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton
at 11. P.M.
PRESENT: Supervisor Burton,
Justices, Boyd, Dudley and Shafer,
Supt. of Highways Anthes,
Deputy Clerk Sherman
Counsellor Gamble.
Upon motion duly seconded it was voted that the reading
of minutes of meetings not yet approved be dispensed with.
The following resolution was offered by Justice Shafer
upon the reccomendation of the Superintendent of Highways,
for the reconsideration of the Highway estimate of the Town of
Mamaroneck for the year 1921
WHEREAS, this Joint Town Board at a regular
meeting held November 4th, 1920, allowed
approved, and duly executed the estimate for
highway purposes for the year 1921 of the
Town Superintendent of Highways, and
WHEREAS, the first item provided for the
repair and improvements of Town Highways
including sluices, culverts and bridges
having a span of less than five feet,
made an allowance of '$12,000.00 which
said estimate has been duly approved by the
Board of Supervisors, and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to reduce said
allowance to $10,000.00
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Super- 11 that the Super®
visor be and he hereby is authorized and
empowered to ask the reconsideration by the
Board of Supervisors of said allovance of
$12,000.00 hereto executed and approved in
the first item of the Highway fund, for
repair and improvement of Town Highways
including sluices, culverts and bridges
having- a span of less then five feet, and
that said allowance be fixed, authorized,
and approved at $10,000.00
The question being taken upon the forgoing resolution
same was declared adopted by the following vote,
AYES: Messrs, Burton, Boyd, Dudley, Shafer, Anthes and Sherman.
NAYS: None
.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned
at 11.20 P.M.
