Town of Mamaroneck,
held December 30th, 1920
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton at
at 9.15 P.M.
PRESENT: Supervisor Burton
Justices Boyd, Collins, Dudley and Shafer
Supt of Highwas, Anthes,
Deputy Clerk, Sherman,
Upon motion, duly seconded, it was voted that the reading
of minutes not yet approved by dispensed with.
Supervisor Burton submitted the Highway, Bridge and
Miscellaneous report for the year 1920 as required under Section 107
of the Highway Law. He presented certificates showing the following
balances to the credit of the Town of Mamaroneck.
First National Bank of Mamaroneck, $10,248.21
First National Bank of Larchmont, $ 8,423.06
Whereupon, Justice Shafer offered the following resolution
which was seconded by Justice Collins.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mamaroneck Paragraph
be and hereby is designated to publish the
Highway, Bridge and Miscellaneous report of
the Supervior for the fiscal year ending,
December 28th, 1920 and be it further,
RESOLVED, that the expenses, not to exceed
ten dollars for publishing such report be made
a proper Town charge.
The question being taken upon the foregoing resolution,
same was declared adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Messrs, Burton, Boyd, Collins, Dudley, Shafer, Anthes and Sherman
Nayes: None.
Mr. Valentine Kraft appeared before the Board, making
application fora street opening on Palmer Avenye for water service
pipe. The Superintendent of Highways approved the application and rec-
omended that the applicant deposit the sum of $100. to insure the proper
replacement of the roadway, it being understood however that pending
formal application blank being filed, that the owner of the property
being served is to assume all responsibility for liability or damage
occasioned by said opening. All of said work is to be done under the
direction and supervision of the Superintendent of Highways.
Upon motion, duly seconded it was voted
that the foregoing be approved. Carried.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned at 9.35 P.M.
