HomeMy WebLinkAbout1920_10_27 Town Board Minutes (2) Meeting of the Joint Town Board, TOWN OF MAMARONECK. held October 27th, 1920. The meeting Was called to order by Supervisor Burton at 10:45 P.M. PRESENT: Supervisor Burton, Justices Boyd, Collins and Dudley Supt. of Higways, Anthes. Deputy Clerk, Sherman. Counsellor Gamble. The minutes of the previous meetings not yet approved were dispensed with. The Supervisor presented his letter to the New York inter- Urban Water Co, and the reply thereto in relation to the formal demand for the installation of new water mains in the Colonial Park Section of the Town of Mamaroneck. Upon motion, duly seconded it was voted that the communications be filled with the Supervisor, noted in the minutes and that the Board concur in the action of the Super- visor. A communication from the Larchmont Branch, Home Bureau in relation to the silent policeman at the intersection of Chatsworth, Murray, Myrtle and Fifth Avenues, Larchmont was received and read. Superintendent of Highways Anthes reported progress in the matter of the silent policeman and it was voted that the Clerk notify the Home Bureau to that effort. Counsellor Gamble reported to the Board in relation to the several meetings upon trolley matters after which Mr. Esser was asked to address the Board advising the Board of their rights. Counsellor Gamble reported that a meeting of the committees of the several communities with the trolley officials be held at White Plains on November 9th, 1920 and the following cormittee were apointed to attend. Messrs. Burton, Dudley, Collins and Anthes. There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 12.00 P.M. John C. Fairchild Town Clerk.
