HomeMy WebLinkAbout1918_10_08 Town Board Minutes Meeting of the Joint Town Board of the Town of Mamaroneck held October 8th, 1918 at 9:50 P.M. Supervisor Burton called the meeting to order. The Clerk reported the following present: Supervisor Burton, Justices Collins, Boyd, Dudley, Shafer, Superintendent of Highways John Hickey, Town Clerk J.C. Fairchild, Counselor Ralph A. Gamble. ' On motion the reading of minutes of previous meetings not yet approved was dispensed with. Counselor Gamble read to the meeting a copy of the letter he had forwarded to Mr. McKinley, Counsel for the Westchester Street Railroad Company as directed by the Board. It was regularly moved, seconded and carried that Counsel be directed to insert in the local papers a notice setting forth the action of the Board at its meeting held on October 4th denying the application of the Westchester Street Railroad Company for a further extension of time in the ratter of increased fare and that a copy of his communication to said Railroad Company be included in said notice. The Supervisor reported that he had sold the old Weaver Street Fire Apparatus for the sum of $140.00. Upon motion the action of the Supervisor was approved by the Board. Adjourned at 10: 30 P.M.
