HomeMy WebLinkAbout1918_08_30 Town Board Minutes 4 Special Meeting of the Town Board, Town of of Mamaroneck, held August 30th, 1918 at 9:55 P.M. Supervisor Burton called the meeting to order. The Clerk reported the following present: Supervisor Burton, Justice Boyd, Dudley and Shafer, J.C. Fairchild, Town Clerk, Ralph A. Gamble, counsel. Supervisor Burton stated that the object of the meeting was to appoint Inspectors of Election for the various Election Disctics within the Town of Mamaroneck. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was RESOLVED, that the call of the meeting be approved. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was RESOLVED that the reading of the minutes of previous meetings not yet approved, be dispensed with, On motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was Resolved that the Board proceed to appoint Inspectors of Election, for the various Election Districts within the Town of Mamaroneck. The following were duly selected for the various districts: List of Inspectors List of Inpectors Republican Democratic Santi Lanza Frank E. Coles 1st 1st Roy Depew Charles Caputo Chas. L. Palmer Awrey Harris 2nd 2nd Geo. W. Blizzard, Jr. John T. Kane John H. Murray Harbeck Mills, Jr. 3rd 3rd Hildebert W. Enlund James Lombard George E. Mills Charles H. Lighte 4th 4th Owen Cunningham James J. Burnett Geo. W. Butterfield George S. Towle 5th 5th John Winkel Benedict A. Nolan Eugene D. Wakeman Michael J. Hannan 6th 6th Edw. P. Schmidt Cornelius Fitzsimmons Upon motion of Justice Dudley, seconded by Justice Boyd it was RESOLVED that the Board approve the appointment of the above named Inspecots of Election as suggested by the Republican and Demo- cratic joint Commitees, and that the Supervisor notify them of their apointment forhwith. On motion the Board adjourned at 10:20 P.M. Town Clerk.
