This local, law shall be knoc•m as "Tax Abatement for Rent Controlled and
Rent Regulated Properties occupied by Senior Citizen§."
Section 1. Adoption of Real Property Lain Section 467-b
The Town of Mamaroneck hereby adopts the provisions of Section 467-b.,
as arneaded, of the Real Property Tax Law of the State of-Nesa 3Iork.
Hereinafter, there shall be provided tax abatement ill rent regulated
apartments where the combined income of members of the household. containing -
senior citizens (sixty-two years of age or older) does not exceed ten
thousand dollars ($10,000.00) and provided, that pursuant to Section 467=-b. .
of the Real Property Tax Lana of the State of Dew, York,the benefits of such
abatement are passed on to such senior citizens,
Section 2, Severability: ;
Any provision of this local la` which is declared unconstitutional
or
otherwise ,invalid by any co.,rrt of competent jurisdiction shall not affect
any other provision of this local law.
Section 3. Effective date:
