NOISE REGULATION
A Local Law to Amend Chapter 51 - Noise Regulation of the
Town Code of the Town of Mamaroneck
Section I - purpose:
The purpose of this amendment is to clarify the time
periods during which it would be unlawful to engage in
certain types of activities which cause disturbances to
individuals in their homes and thus affect the public
health, safety and welfare.
Amendment:
Chapter 51, entitled "Noise Regulation of, the Town Code of
the Town of Mamaroneck" be and hereby is amended by adding
Section 51 - 3A which shall read as follows:

51 - 3A - Time Limitations:
Under no circumstances shall any person, firm or corpora-
tion operate any machine, construction equipment or other
similar device that makes noise which carries beyond the
boundaries of the property on which it is located; or if a i

A.M. Nor may such device be operated on a road,
except for the purposes of transporting same from mlone place
to another.
Section III
- Severability;
Should a court of competent jurisdiction declare any
Provision of this local law illegal, then such declaration
shall not effect any other provision of this local law.
Section IV -- Effective Date:
This local law shall take effect immediately upon filing
with the Secretary of State.
