IOCAL LAW NO. 19- 1991
A Local Law to amend Local Law No. lof 1987 entitled the Plumbing Code
of the Town of Mamaroneck.
The Plumbing Code of the Tcrwn of Mamaroneck shall be amended as follows.
1) Section 7 B. Any person, firm, or corporation which holds a license
as a master plumber or employing plumber issued by another
municipality in the County of Westchester which has not lapsed or
been revoked, and provided that the other municipality recognizes in
a reciprocal and similar manner master plumber's licenses issued by
the Town of Mamaroneck, may apply to the Town Clerk for a license to
carry on the business or trade of master or employing plumber in the
Tbwn of Mamaroneck provided that the application to the Town Clerk is
accagpanied by (a) a certified copy of said license issued by the
other municipality and (b) the required license fee is paid and the
applicant shall not be required to take the examination as required
by §3(E) . Tn order to differentiate between master plumbers licensed
directly by the 'Town and those who are issued licenses based upon the
holding of a master plumbers license from another municipality such
license shall be entitled "Plumber's License" to differentiate it
from the "Master Plumber's License" issued under this article
subparagraph "A".

2) Effective Date. This local law shall take effect itmnediately.
3) Severability. Should any provision of this local law be declared
invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall
not effect any other provision of this local law.
