This Local Law shall be known as Parking Prohibition, Senate Place
Section 1. Purpose:
The purpose of this Local Law is to correct a condition which exists on Senate Place due
to the large number of cars which park on Senate Place during school hours, resulting in
a danger to pedestrians.
Section 2. Parking Prohibited:
There shall be no parking on the south side of Senate Place from its intersection with
Daymon Terrace to its dead end during the hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 PM on all days in
which the Mamaroneck public schools are in session.
Section 3. Signs to be Erected:
The Highway Department shall erect appropriate signs implementing the provisions of
Section 2 of this local law.
Section 4. Fines and Penalties:
Violation of this local law shall be a violation punishable by a fine in an amount to be se
from time to time by Town Board resolution for parking violations.
Section S. Severability:
Should any provision of this local law be declared invalid by a court of competent
jurisdiction, such declaration of invalidity shall not effect any other section of this local
law which may be otherwise capable of enforcement.
Section 6. Effective Date:
This local law shall take effect immediately
