THE FOLLOWING LOCAL LAW WAS ADOPTED BY THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF
MAMARONECK BY RESOLUTION ON OCTOBER 4, 2000.
LOCAL LAW NO. 17-2000
This Local Law shall be known as a “Stop Intersection at Howell Avenue at the Intersections of Meadow Place
and Hawthorne Road.”
Section l. Purpose:
To regulate traffic on Howell Avenue at the intersection of Meadow Place and Hawthorne Road.
Section 2. Regulation of Traffic:
Vehicles shall be required to come to a full stop at such intersections where said stop signs are installed.
Section 3. Sign to be Erected:
Stop signs shall be installed at the intersections of Meadow Place and Hawthorne Road.
Section 4. Severability:
Should any provision of this Local Law be declared illegal or unconstitutional by a court of competent
jurisdiction, to the extent that the other provisions of this Local Law can be implemented without such illegal or
unconstitutional provision such other provisions shall remain in effect.
Section 4. Effective Date:
This Local Law shall take effect upon filing with the Secretary of State.
