THE FOLLOWING LOCAL LAW WAS ADOPTED BY THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF
MAMARONECK BY RESOLUTION ON SEPTEMBER 6, 2000.
LOCAL LAW NO. 15 - 2000
This Local Law shall be known as “No Parking or Standing Zone” at the Curve on Cooper Lane on Either Side of the
Driveway Entrance at Sts. John & Paul School.
Section 1. Intent:
The school driveway entrance is located at a sharp curve on Cooper Lane which creates a potential hazard when cars park
or stand at that location. The Traffic Committee has recommended that a “No Parking or Standing Zone” be established at
the curve on Cooper Lane on either side of the driveway entrance at Sts. John & Paul School.
Section 2. Purpose:
To establish a “No Parking or Standing Zone” at the curve on Cooper Lane on either side of the driveway entrance at Sts.
John & Paul School.
Section 3. Signs to be Erected:
A “No Parking or Standing” sign shall be erected at the curve on Cooper Lane on either side of the driveway entrance at
Sts. John & Paul School.
Section 4. Severability:
Should any provisions of this Local Law be declared invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such
declaration of unconstitutionality or invalidity shall not affect any other provisions of this Local Law which may be
implemented without the invalid or unconstitutional provision.
Section 5. Effective Date:
This Local Law shall become effective upon filing of the Secretary of State.
