Home My WebLink About1997_6_18_Local_Law_No_8 LOCAL LAW NO. 8 - 1997 This Local Law shall be known as "Parking Restrictions from August 4 to August 18, 1997, from the hours of 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. within the vicinity of Winged Foot Golf Club." Section 1. Purpose: To prohibit parking, standing and stopping within the vicinity of Winged Foot Golf Club from August 4 to August 18, 1997, from the hours of 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. during the period of the PGA Tournament to insure the free flow of traffic and minimize disturbance to residents. Section 2. No Parking from August 4 to August 18, 1997: Parking shall be prohibited at the following locations from August 4 to August 18, 1997, from the hours of 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.: 1.) Both sides of Murdock Road 2.) Both sides of Split Tree Road 3.) Both sides of Salem Drive 4.) Both sides of Kolbert Drive 5.) Both sides of Adrian Circle Section 3. No Parking, Standing or r Stopping (No Pickup or Drop Off) from August 11 to August 18, 1997: Parking, standing or stopping shall be prohibited from August 11 to August 18, 1997, from the hours of 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the following locations: 1.) Both sides of Griffen Avenue 2.) Both sides of Grand Park Avenue 3.) Both sides of Fenimore Road 4.) Both sides of Avon Road 5.) Both sides of Rockland Avenue 6.) Both sides of Poccia Circle 7.) Both sides of Boulder Brae Lane 8.) Both sides of Winged Foot Drive 9.) Both sides of Magnetti Circle 10.) Both sides of Gate House Lane 11.) Both sides of Prince Willow Lane 12.) Both sides of Wagon Wheel Road 13.) Both sides of Well House Close Section 4. Sims to be Erected: Appropriate signs shall be posted in the areas designated at the direction of the Town Administrator. Section 6. Severability: Should any provision of this Local Law be declared invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such declaration of unconstitutionality or invalidity shall not affect any other provision of this Local Law which may be implemented without the invalid or unconstitutional provisions. Section 7. Penalties: Any person violating any provision of this Local Law shall be punishable upon conviction thereof by a time not exceeding Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250.00) or imprisonment not exceeding fifteen (15) days, or both. The Police Department shall have the authority to have any vehicle parked in violation of this Local Law towed or otherwise removed at the expense of the owner of the vehicle. Section 8. Effective Date: This Local Law shall take effect immediately and will continue in effect until August 19, 1997.
