This Local Law shall be known as "Stop Intersection - Mountain Avenue and No.
Chatsworth Avenue".
Section 1. Purpose:
To regulate the traffic traveling north on Mountain Avenue by replacing the yield sign
with a stop sign where Mountain Avenue merges with No. Chatsworth Avenue.
Section 2. Regulation of Traffic on Mountain Avenue:
Vehicles shall be required to come to a full stop on Mountain Avenue at its merge point
with No. Chatsworth Avenue.
Section 3. Signs to be Erected:
Appropriate signs shall be erected at the merge point of Mountain Avenue with No.
Chatsworth Avenue as provided in Section 2.
Section 4. Severability:
Should any provision of this Local Law be declared invalid or unconstitutional by any
court of competent jurisdiction, such declaration of unconstitutionality or invalidity shall
not affect any other provisions of this Local Law which may be implemented without the
invalid or unconstitutional provision.
Section 5. Effective Date:
This Local Law shall take effect immediately.
