CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting held at the Senior Center, 1288 Boston Post Road, Larchmont was called to order at
7:00 P.M. by Chairman Druker.
ACCEPTANCE OF MEETING MINUTES:
On a motion by Chairman Druker, seconded by Commissioner Gutter, the Meeting Minutes of May 9,
2023, were unanimously approved as amended.
INTRODUCTION OF NEW MYHA CO-PRESIDENTS:
Mr. Brendan Collins, outgoing MYHA President introduced new incoming Co-Presidents, Molly
Monopoli and Sean Murdoch. MYHA would like to again host a MYHA/NY Ranger hockey game.
The tentative dates for this event would be either January 19th or 26th. The Friday evening public
session would need to be cancelled in order to host this event. After further discussion, on a motion
by Chairman Druker, seconded by Commissioner Gutter, the Commission unanimously approved
hosting the charity hockey game event.
HOMMOCKS PARK ICE RINK 2023/2024 FEE RECOMMENDATIONS:
Matt Angst, Ice Rink General Manager proposed the following fee schedule for the 2023/2024 season
as follows:
Admission Fees:
Adult Child Senior Citizens Skates
Hommocks General Public: $11.50 $10.00 $9.00 $6.00
Hommocks Resident w/ID: $ 9.50 $ 8.50 $7.75 $5.00
Skating School Fees: Resident: $107.00
Nonresident: $127.00
Ice Rental Fees:
Hourly Fee (September 1st — March 31st, Monday — Friday, 4:00 — 10 :00 P.M.) $565.00
Weekend Hourly Fee (September 1st — March 31st) $565.00
Late Evening Hourly Fee (September 1st — March 31st, after 10:00 P.M.) $490.00
Early Morning Fee (September 1st — March 31st, before 8:30 A.M.) $490.00

After much discussion, on a motion by Chairman Druker, seconded by Commissioner Welsh, the
Commission unanimously approved the recommended 2023/2024 Hommocks Park Ice Rink Fee
Schedule.
ADDITIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE HOMMOCKS PARK ICE RINK 2023/2024
SEASON:
• Commissioner Gutter inquired about having a Lacrosse Stick Time on the sport court floor
during the summer. The rink is currently being rented this summer by Westrock Warhogs.
The ice rink doesn't own any lacrosse nets for outside rentals, but Matt will reach out to see if
any local organizations are interested in an open stick time.
• Mr. Angst stated we will be renting out the floor this summer for a new fencing program, and
the NY Rangers Floor Ball program.
SUPERINTENDENT'S UPDATE:
Ms. Fisher reported the following:
1 . A copy of the letter sent to the Town of Mamaroneck Fire Department was enclosed. They
were presented with an award from WRAPS for their dedicated service to the community
and the Recreation Department, and for their help with our special events offered throughout
the year.
2. The June newsletter was enclosed announcing many of our summer program offerings.
3. Summer program registration is ongoing. Current registration numbers as of June 8th, are
as follows:
Hommocks Camp 229
Camp Rockingstone 48
Swim Team: 40
Swim Lessons: 51
4. The Hommocks Park Ice Rink concludes it season on Sunday, June 11th
5. The first outdoor movie of the season is scheduled for Friday, June 16th with a showing of
"Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile".
6. All summer aquatic programs will begin the week of June 26th
7. Our first summer concert at Memorial Park is scheduled for Monday, July 10th featuring
"Back to the Garden 1969".
8. The kayaking classes have 24 participants currently enrolled.
9. Spring tennis programs will end on June 25th. Summer tennis programs are scheduled to
start the week of June 26th.
10.The ice rink's Daily Visit Report for the month of May was enclosed for review.
11 .The Pond Hockey Leagues concluded on Saturday, June 3rd. Awards were handed out to
the participating teams. Photos were enclosed.
12.The Carpino-Steffens Fields are scheduled to be fertilized the week of June 26th
13.The 2023 Annual Ice Breaker Hockey Tournament netted a total revenue of $14,849.70.
These funds were deposited into the Hommocks Park Ice Rink Trust Account.

SUPERINTENDENT'S UPDATE CONTINUED:
14.On May 31st, the Memorial Park Playground ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the park.
Additional landscaping and planting of shrubs still need to be done. Additional benches and
a bike rack will also be added.
15.The existing rubber safety surface at Richbell Road Playground has been replaced.
16.Quinn Cox, a resident Eagle Scout has cleaned up the bocce court at the Senior Center.
Two benches were provided for the players. Photos were enclosed.
17.The landscaping project at the ice rink entry way has been completed. Photos were
enclosed.
18.A cracked water pipe that runs between the outdoor training pool and the filter building is
being repaired. Photos were enclosed.
19.The Westchester County Board of Health has changed the age requirement for youths
entering the pool without adult supervision, effective August 18th. Anyone under the age of
14 years must be accompanied by an adult/guardian. This rule will go into effect this
summer.
20.The use of the Carpino-Steffens Fields for Hommocks Graduation on Thursday, June 22nd
has been approved.

There being no further business to come before the Commission, on a motion by Chairman Druker,
seconded by Commissioner Welsh, the meeting adjourned at 8:50 P.M.
