December 6, 2022
Present: Edward Jacobson, Chairman, Ken Ricci,Charles Toothill,Joseph Shein arrived late
Absent: Susan Healey, Diane Blum
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 7:35P.M.
1. 35 North Chatsworth Avenue Generator
Nicholas Pasalides from CBK Engineering addressed the Board, stating that during storm Ida the
generator in the basement flooded and was destroyed.
The Board discussed the size of the generator, placement on top of the oil tank and questioned how it
will be screened and noise attenuated.
Mr.Toothill stated the unit is closer to the neighboring house than the apartment building.
Mr. Ricci asked why the generator is on top of the oil tank and why the tank is not being buried. Mr.
Pasalides stated the tank is 1300 gallons.
The Board asked for a detailed landscaping plan showing the type of plantings, the growth expected to
screen the unit. The sound level at 10, 20 and 30 feet,the exact distance from the neighboring house.
Also the color on the enclosure.
The matter was adjourned to January 23, 2023.
2. 1385 Boston Post Road Signs
Dr. Alan Seigel stated that they want signs for both Velocity Sports Performance and, Proclinix Sports
Physical Therapy Chiropractic.
The Board discussed the proposed signage and stated that they did not like the idea of the signs on the
building as the commercial building as designed looks more residential. Also there are 2 more units
that may also want signage. The Board suggested a monument sign and suggested the applicant discuss
the different signage with the landlord and return with a new proposal.
