THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK HELD ON OCTOBER 26, 2000 AT
8:30 AM IN CONFERENCE ROOM A OF THE TOWN CENTER, 740
W. BOSTON POST ROAD, MAMARONECK, NEW YORK
PRESENT:
Supervisor Valerie M. O'Keeffe
Councilwoman Judith A. Myers
Councilman Ernest C. Odierna
Councilwoman Nancy Seligson
ABSENT: Councilwoman Phyllis Wittner
ALSO PRESENT: Stephen V. Altieri - Town Administrator
Frank Fish - Buckhurst, Fish, and Jacquemart
George Jacquemart - Buckhurst, Fish, and Jacquemart
Murray Brauman
Robert Spolzino - Special Counsel to the Town Of Mamaroneck

CALL TO ORDER
The special meeting of the Town Board was called to order by Supervisor O'Keeffe at 8:30
AM.
In view of the fact that the meeting was to discuss matters in connection with litigation with
the City of New Rochelle and IKEA, a motion to adjourn into executive session was
requested.
On motion by Councilwoman Seligson and second by Councilwoman Myers, it was
unanimously:
RESOLVED, that the Town Board will adjourn into executive
session to discuss matters pertaining to litigation.
Upon completion of the discussion regarding litigation, the Town Board adjourned back into
their regular meeting.
Frank Fish of Buckhurst, Fish, and Jacquemart presented a proposal to prepare traffic
simulation data to assist with the review of the DEIS for the proposed IKEA store.
On motion by Councilwoman Myers and second by Councilman Odierna, it was unanimously:
RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes an expenditure
of up to $10,000 for the preparation of traffic simulation data
by Buckhurst, Fish, and Jacquemart utilizing the firm of Earth
Tech of Glastonbury Connecticut.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 11:30 AM.
