TOWN OF MAMARONECK,
held, September 20th, 1922.
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton
at 10.30 P.M.
PRESENT: Supervisor Burton,
Justices Boyd, Collins and Shafer,
Town Clerk Sherman.
The minutes of the meetings of August 9th, 15th, Sept-
ember 5th, 8th, 11th, 14th, 15th, and 18th, 1922, were read and
upon motion approved.
The report of the Receiver of Taxes for the month of
August was received, read, ordered placed on file and is as
follows:
September 5th, 1922.
Sir:
Pursuant to Section 23 of the Westchester County Tax
Law, I hereby regpectfully report the amount of State, County,
Town, School, Highway and Special District taxes, together with
the interest and penalties thereon, collected by me during the
month of August, 1922.

The report of the Building Commission for the month of
August was received and read showing permits issued and fees
collected in the amount of $102.00. Same was ordered noted in
the minutes and placed on file.
The report of the Police Department for the month of
August was received and read showing 86 arrests and fines amount-
ing to $325.00. The report was ordered noted in the minutes and
placed on file.
The report of the Town Clerk for the month of August
was received, read, ordered placed on file and is as follows:

I herewith submit the report of licenses issued and
fees collected in the office of the Town Clerk for the month of
August 1922, as follows:
Dog licenses issued 160 $40.00
Extra tags

Hunting Licenses issued 5 5.00
Telephone tolls .30
Total $58.41

A communication was received from Mr.Bloomer, Overseer
of the Poor, stating that he had been notified that after Sept-
ember 1st, 1922, the rent for his office would be increased to
$20.00 per month.
Upon motion, duly seconded, it was upon ROLL CALL,
RESOLVED, that the rent for the office
occupied by the Overseer of the Poor
be fixed at $20.00 per month, said
amount commencing September 1st, 1922,
and it was further
RESOLVED, that the Supervisor be and
he hereby is authorized and empowered
to pay said sum upon the presentation
of proper vouchers therefor.
A communication from the Board of Appeals was received
and read requesting the approval of rules and regulations of said
Board and requesting the filing of a certified copy with them
of the resolution approving such rules and regulations. The Clerk
was instructed to reply and state that under subdivision 8 of
Section 26 the Board of Appeals had full jurisdiction to make
any rules and regulations without the approval of the Town Board.
Meeting of the Town Board & Board of Assessors
TOWN OF MAMARONECK,
held, September 22nd, 1922.
The meeting was called to order by Justice Boyd at
5.30 P.M.
PRESENT: Justices Boyd, Dudley and Shafer,
Assessors Fish and Mulcahy,
Town Clerk Sherman.
Upon motion, duly seconded, it was
RESOLVED, that the Board continue the
compilation of the grand and petty
jury lists.
The Board thereupon proceeded pursuant to the resolution.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned at 10.30 P.M., to
meet September 25th, 1922.
