TOWN OF MAMARONECK,
held, December 7th, 1921.
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton
at 10.45 P.M.
PRESENT: Supervisor Burton,
Justices Boyd, Collins, Dudley and Shafer,
Town Clerk Sherman.
Upon notion, it was voted to dispense with the reading
of minutes of meetings not yet approved.
A communication from the Civil Service Commission was
received by the Supervisor and read, relative to appointments of
Peace Offices of Fire District No. 1 and upon motion duly second-
ed it was
RESOLVED, that this Town Board urge
the Civil Service Conrission to app-
rove the certification of all men
now on the Police force and it was
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk be
authorized and instrvoted to notify
the Civil Service commission of our
request and action.
CARRIED.

Captain Decker reported that two Police Officers were
without rubber coats and boots and upon motion duly seconded, it
was
RESOLVED, that the Supervisor be and
he hereby is authorized and empowered
to purchase two rubber costs and two
sets of boots for the Police Officers.
CARRIED.

The following resolution was offered by Justice Shafer
and seconded by Justice Collins;
Whereas, the Town of Mamaroneck has
purchased for Sewer purposes Lot 21
block 328 as shown on the map of the
Woods of Larchmont, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Receiver of Taxes
be and he hereby is authorized and
directed to cancel on the assessment
rolls for the year 1921 the taxes
levied for State, County, and general
Town and School purposes against Sec-
tion 1, Block 61, Lot 3 and that he
make reference thereon to this resol-
ution.
The question being taken upon the foregoing resolution,
same was unanimously carried.
A communication from the Weaver Street Fire Company was
received and read, inviting the members of the Town Board to be
present at their Fire House on Wednesday evening December 14th,
at their annual entertainment. The invitation was accepted and
the Clerk was instructed to notify Secretary Addor that all mem-
bers of the Town Board will be present
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned at 11.25 P.M.
