HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991_11_21 Board of Architectural Review Minutes MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE ARCHITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW OF THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK NOVEMBER 21, 1991, IN THE SENIOR CENTER, TOWN CENTER 740 WEST BOSTON POST ROAD MAMARONECK, NEW YORK Present: E. Robert Wassman, Chairman Robert Immerman Pamela Washington Joan Williams Absent: Ralph Heisel Also present: William E. Jakubowski, Building Inspector Bonnie M. Burdick, Recording Secretary CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairman Wassman at 8:03 PM. APPROVAL OF MINUTES On motion of Mr. Immerman, seconded by Mrs. Washington, the minutes for the meeting of October 17, 1991 were approved as corrected. TEN GRAND, INC. Donald Mazin, attorney, and Richard Rheaume, engineer with SAIC, appeared on behalf of the application. They were resubmitting planting plan #C-3 at the request of the Zoning Board. That Board had suggested more planting which was represented on the new plans. Four more trees had been added, and a gap near Central School had been filled in. On motion of Mrs. Williams, seconded by Mr. Wassman, with a 3-1 vote, Mr. Immerman opposed, the Board approved the random planting of 2 pin oaks, 2 Zelkovas and 2 Bradford pears in the large parking lot at the front of the store while leaving the final design to the discretion of the developer. LAMBORGHINI NY - CONN Mr. Jakubowski presented to the Board the new plan which it had requested. The planting was shown, and, in addition, the lights were depicted. There were six poles in the back with two 150-watt bulbs on each pole and a series of downed lights in the soffets of the building. On motion of Mrs. Washington, seconded by Mrs. Williams, the Board unanimously approved the installation of spot lights not to exceed 150 watts each and the illumination of the lot which shall not exceed the requirements set down in the Zoning Ordinance for automobile parking lots. On motion of Mrs. Williams, seconded by Mr. Immerman, the plan submitted by Lamborghini for planting and lighting was unanimously approved. November 21, 1991 -2- LARCHMONT ACRES Mr. Wassman noted that the application had been excused without prejudice.
