October 15, 1992 were approved as corrected.
On motion of Mr. Immerman, seconded by Mrs. Williams, the minutes for
September 17, 1992 were approved.
JACK'S MIRACLE AUTO REPAIRS, INC. - 2430 Boston Post Road - Block 503
Lot 421 - Select roof color
Mr. Eisenbach had presented a large palate of colors, but he did not
bring a sample of the building material's color. He agreed that Mrs.
Washington could make the choice of color for the roof on behalf of the
Board, and she stated that she would go to the site the next morning to
choose.
It was agreed that the stipulation from the last meeting concerning the
roof signs would be changed to mandate that the sign boxes remain
anodized metal.
CHEMICAL BANK - 1350 Boston Post Road - Block 410 Lots 130 and 140 -
Application for signs.
Kirk Jasse of Midtown Neon Signs appeared. He stated that the applicant
was amending its application so that it would conform with the sign law.
Therefore, the signs will be 9' 8 3/4" by 3' 9" with 3' logo and copy.
The wording "24 Hours" will be eliminated. Mr. Jakubowski stated that
the square footage is acceptable and that the height of the logo is
acceptable, too. He noted that the sign will be farther to the right
facing the building on the Post Road side than the current sign and
stated that the uncovered facade must be restored.

Mr. Jasse stated that the signs would have a blue background with white
letters and a red horizontal stripe. The members approved these colors.
However, they were concerned about the "timid" landscaping at the site.
Mrs. Williams stated that every bush is trimmed like a ball and that at
least one new tree is needed.
On motion of Mr. Wassman, seconded by Mrs. Williams, the following
stipulations were adopted for 1350 Boston Post Road.
The sign applications, as amended, were approved. The facade
uncovered by moving the sign on the Post Road shall be restored to
its original condition. A bond or Letter of Credit in the amount of
$5,000 shall be posted when the sign permit is issued and shall be
held until a landscaping plan is submitted and implemented.
TOWN OF MAMARONECK - Hommocks Park Apartments - 1361 Boston Post Road -
Block 411 Lot 169 - Landscaping
Bradford Perkins and Martin Seifring, architects for the project,
appeared. They explained their rendering and stated that approval by the
Zoning Board and the Planning Board, the Lead Agency, had been granted.
The building will be wood frame with cedar shakes stained gray with a
white trim. There will be an asphalt roof, and the doors will be
411) gray-blue, blue and maroon.
The Board members complimented the architects on their plans although Mr.
Heisel wanted them to add hip roofs to more of the buildings.
Landscaping plans were presented. The maples and pines on Hommocks Road
will be preserved. Street trees and smaller bushes will be planted on
the Post Road. The architects agreed to substitute pin oaks for the
zelcovias on the plan.
On motion of Mrs. Washington, seconded by Mrs. Washington, the Board
approved the plans presented by a vote of 4 - 1, Mr. Heisel opposed.
OLD BUSINESS
Mr. Jakubowski reminded the Board that it needed to look at the parking
lot at Lexus now that the leaves have fallen. The matter will be put on
the agenda.
