Signs, banners and revisions
Andrew Fredman, architect, appeared. He stated that the developers are
still seeking tenants for the space on the Post Road and that he was
seeking input from the Board.
Mr. Fredman stated that the pilasters will frame the entrances and that
the grids will house the signs and add depth and color. It is planned
that the grid will be durano ic, not be back lit, and might have channel
lettering. Mr. Heisel did not favor a large grid and suggested that it
could run between the pilasters.
It was suggested that the entrances could be off-center.
The request for banners was not precise. It was noted that the Sign
Ordinance is ambivalent about banners.
This matter was adjourned. Mr. Fredman was requested to return with a
rendering of the entire building and with specific details for the
banners.
