CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Acting Chairman Imnerman at 8:07 PM.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The proper quorum was not present for approval of the minutes of the
March BAR meeting.
Mr. 'merman vigorously expressed great concern that certain applicants
have not adhered to the plans approved by the Board of Architectural
Review and that the Building Department and the Town administration have
not stopped the building process and enforced the Board's decisions. He
referred in particular to the change to the facade, corners of the
building and signs at the Larchmont Diner; and, Mr. "merman complained
about a difference to a window approval at the Clocktower Building. Mrs.
Washington agreed with Mr. 'merman's strongly-made statement.
DOCS - 1380 Boston Post Road - Lot 409 Lot 192 - Revised landscaping
plan.
Ada Ferguson, Environmental Facilities Coordinator, appeared with Dennis
Minelli, landscape contractor. The company is resurfacing the blacktop,
adding handicapped parking spaces, striping the parking lot and putting
directional indications for packers. There will be no parking right at
the front entrance to the building. The landscaping is as the BAR had
requested with additional shrubs being planted.
Mrs. Washington complimented the applicant on this most recent plan and
told the applicant to consult with the Building Inspector concerning fire
lanes.
On motion of Mr. Jacobson, seconded by Mrs. Washington, the following
resolution was unanimously adopted, 4-0.

by the condition of the materials found and the placement of beams and
utility structures discovered while demolishing the facade. A rendering
was used to describe the desired changes. (Said drawing was not submitted
prior to the meeting or at its conclusion.)
The members were in agreement with the plans as shown on the rendering
with the exclusion of the roof-like extrusion and "door" on the curved
corner at its Alden Road - Post Road end. They agreed to a different
placement than submitted for sign approval and okayed light fixtures
without seeing an example. The door will also be different than shown on
the plans submitted to the Board. It will have less glass for safety
purposes
The Board requested that trees be planted and suggested espaliered trees
or shrubs against the eastern part of the facade. On behalf of the
corporation, Mr. Fleming agreed to this landscaping.
The signs were changed during the meeting. Mr. Fleming and Mr. Caldararo
were told to check the allowances permitted under the sign law with the
Building Inspector. Mr. Caldararo stated that the signage represented had
a typo as there is no apostrophe in the name of the restaurant.
