PRESENT: Ken Ricci, Donald Meeker, Edward Jacobson
ABSENT: Diane Neff
ALSO PRESENT: Ronald Carpaneto, Director of Building, Jaine Elkan-Eney Liasion
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M.
Mr. Jacobson stated that only three members were present therefore the applicant would require an
unanimous vote of 3-0in order to be approved. If any applicant wishes to wait for a full Board they may
request an adjournment.
MINUTES
The minutes were not discussed.
APPLICATION NO. 1 WALGREENS 1333 Boston Post Road Façade, Site Improvement
The matter was adjourned at the applicant’s request.
APPLICATION NO. 2 WALGREENS 1333 Boston Post Road Sign
The matter was adjourned at the applicant’s request.
APPLICATION NO. 3 ACURA 2151 Palmer Avenue Façade, Site Improvement
Jonathan Villani, the applicant’s architect, addressed the Board, stating that he addressed the Boards
comments from the previous meeting and submitted a revised drawing.
The Board discussed the plan.
On motion of Mr. Ricci, seconded by Mr. Meeker the application was approved with the following
conditions.
Vote:
Yes: Edward Jacobson, Ken Ricci, Donald Meeker
Absent: Diane Neff
1. The eyebrow windows above the main windows shall be rectangular.
2. The awning shall be made of a dark blue Sunbrella material.
3. The awning shall be open and have no sides.
4. The awning shall occupy the full width of the opening.
5. The awning shall be in set into the masonary rough opening of the window.
6. The leading edge of the awning shall be no higher than 7 feet off the floor.
APPLICATION No. 4. WINGED FOOT GOLF CLUB 851 Fenimore Road Site Improvement
Seth Mandelbaum the applicant’s attorney addressed the Board.
The Board discussed the application.
On motion of Mr. Ricci, seconded by Mr. Meeker the Board approved option 1 the dark green sceme with
a historic roof made of either slate or cedar.
