Notice of Special Meeting
Town Board
IIITown of Mamaroneck, N. Y.
Pursuant to Section 62 of the Town Law, I
hereby call a Special Meeting of the Town
Board, to be held in the Council Room of
the Weaver Street Firehouse, Weaver Street,
Town of Mamaroneck, at 8:15 P.M. , Tuesday,
August 19, 1975, for the purpose of rescind-
ing the resolutions adopted on August 6, 1975,
approving sewer improvements and authorizing
the borrowing for Sewer District No. 1 and
calling a public hearing in relation to the
reconstruction of certain existing sanitary
sewer laterals in and for Sewer District
No. 1 of the Town of Mamaroneck.

MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF
MAMARONECK, HELD AUGUST 19, 1975 IN THE COUNCIL ROOM OF THE
WEAVER STREET FIREHOUSE, WEAVER STREET, TOWN OF MAMARONECK, AT
8:15 P.M.
CALL TO ORDER
The Supervisor called the meeting to order at 8:15 P.M. in
accordance with the Notice of Meeting and Waiver thereof as
herewith presented and ordered received and filed as part of
the record of this meeting.
ROLL CALL
Present: Supervisor Helwig
Deputy Supervisor Vandernoot
Councilman Bloom
Councilman White
Councilman McMillan
Absent: None
Also Present: Mrs. Miller - Town Clerk
Mr-:,__DeLuca - Comptroller
Following Mrs. Helwig's explanation of the necessity for calling
this meeting and pursuant to letter addressed by Sykes, Galloway &
Dikeman to Mr. Vandernoot under date of August 14, 1975 and here-
with presented and ordered received and filed, the following
resolution was offered by Deputy Supervisor Vandernoot, who moved
its adoption, seconded by Councilman Bloom, to-wit:
RESOLUTION DATED AUGUST 19, 1975
A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING IN
RELATION TO THE RECONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN
EXISTING SANITARY SEWER LATERALS IN AND
FOR SEWER DISTRICT NO. 1 OF THE TOWN OF
MAMARONECK, WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NEW YORK.
WHEREAS, the Town Engineer, by a Report dated
July 11, 1975, has recommended the reconstruc-
tion of sanitary sewer laterals at various
locations in and for Sewer District No. 1 of
the Town of Mamaroneck, Westchester County,
New York, as hereinafter more fully described;
and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of the aforesaid
improvements is $210,000;
and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to call a public
hearing on said proposed improvements in
accordance with the provisions of Chapter 630
of the Laws of 1939, as amended by Chapter 710
of the Laws of 1943;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, by the Town Board of the Town of
Mamaroneck, Westchester County, New York,
as follows:
Section 1. A meeting of the Town Board of the Town
of Mamaroneck, Westchester County, New York, will
be held at the Weaver Street Firehouse, Weaver Street,
Mamaroneck, New York, in said Town, at 8:15 P.M. ,
1 III Eastern Daylight Saving Time, on the 3rd day of
September, 1975, for the purpose of considering the
aforesaid improvements, at which time and place said

Town Board will hear all persons interested in the
subject matter thereof.
Section 2. The resolution entitled: "RESOLUTION
DATED AUGUST 6, 1975. A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
RECONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN EXISTING SANITARY SEWER
LATERALS IN AND FOR SEWER DISTRICT NO. 1 OF THE
TOWN OF MAMARONECK, WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NEW YORK",
duly adopted by the Town Board of said Town on
August 6, 1975, is hereby rescinded.
Section 3. The resolution entitled: "RESOLUTION
DATED AUGUST 6, 1975. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
THE ISSUANCE OF $210,000 SERIAL BONDS OF THE TOWN
OF MAMARONECK, WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NEW YORK, TO
PAY THE COST OF THE RECONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN EXIST-
ING SANITARY SEWER LATERALS IN AND FOR SEWER DISTRICT
NO. 1 OF SAID TOWN.", duly adopted by the Town Board
of said Town on August 6, 1975, is hereby rescinded.
Section 4. The Town Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to cause a notice of said public hearing
to be published once in the Daily Times, the official
newspaper, and posted in the manner provided by law.
Section 5. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
The question of the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly put to a vote on roll call, which resulted as
follows:
Supervisor Helwig VOTING Aye
Deputy Supervisor Vandernoot VOTING Aye
Councilman Bloom VOTING Aye
Councilman White VOTING Aye
Councilman McMillan VOTING Aye
The resolution was thereupon declared duly adopted.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Board, on motion
duly made and seconded, the meeting was declared adjourned at 8:23 P.M.

MEETING RECONVENED
Pursuant to request of the Town Clerk, the meeting was reconvened
in order that the authorization be given for the publication of
the -Notice of the Primary Election and its Polling .Places and on
motion by Councilman McMillan, seconded by Councilman White, it
was unanimously
RESOLVED, that in accordance with the pro-
visions of Sections 66 and 74 of the
Election Law, being Chapter 17. of the
Consolidated Laws of the State of New York
as amended, the Town Board of the Town of
Mamaroneck hereby designates a place for
each Election District in the Town as
shown herebelow:
DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY Tuesday, September 9, 1975 -
12:00 Noon to 9:00 P.M.
1975 List of Primary Election Polling Places -
Town of Mamaroneck.
District No. 6 Chatsworth Avenue School, Forest
Park Avenue, Larchmont, New York.
District No. 7 Chatsworth Avenue School, Forest
Park Avenue, Larchmont, New York.

Park Avenue, Larchmont, New York.
District No. 26 Larchmont Avenue Church, Larchmont
Avenue, Larchmont, New York.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Board, on motion
duly made and seconded, the meeting was declared adjourned at 8:31 P.M.
