The meeting was called to order by Justice Boyd, in the absence of the Supervisor at 8.15 P.M. JI PRESENT: Justices, Boyd, Collins, Dudley and Shafer. Deputy Clerk, Sherman, The minutes of the meetings of Septembet 1st and Septemeber 7th, 1920, were read and upon motion approved. The Clerk presented a communication from the Fire Council of the Village of Mamaroneck, addressed to the Supervisor, extending an invitation to the members of the Town Board to partic- ipate in the annual inspection to be held on the 20th day of Oct- ober, 1920. Upon motion, duly seconded, it was VOTED, that the communication be received, filed and that the Super- visor be requested to answer same, accepting the invitation on behalf of the Town Board. The report of the Supervisor for the month ending August 31st, 1920 was received, read, ordered placed on file and is as follows: September 1st, 1920. Geo.W®Burton, Supervisor® To the Honorable , The Town Board of the Town of 11amaroneck, Mamaroneck, N.Y. The Clerk presented bids received for the purchase of new shades for the Town Hall. It was upon motion, duly seconded, VOTED, that the bids received be now opened. The Clerk proceeded to open and read the bids received which were as follows.- Peter Lutz, $83.00 Karl Opperman 78.00 Upon motion duly seconded and Upon ROLL CALL, it was VOTED, that the work of making new shades for the Town Hall be given to the lowest bidder, is; Karl Opperman. The Clerk reported that the Election Booth in the Sixth district needed repairing and fixing. It was thereupon Voted, that the matter be left in the hands of the Supervisor and the Town Clerk with power. It was regularly moved and secdnded that the Clerk be instructed to notify Counsellor Gamble, that the lease of the property wherein the Voting Booth is located in the 6th District expires on September 30th next , and that Counsellor Gamble be authorized and directed to have same renewed.
