TOWN OF IWTARONECK
held
SEPT FIRST, 1920
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton
at 10.40 P.M.
PRESENT: Supervisor Burton,
Justices, Boyd, Collins and Shafer,
Deputy Clerk Sherman
Counsellor Gamble.
The minutes of the meetings of August 18th and
August 20th 1920 were read and upon motion approved.
The Supervisor presented a communication from Mr.
Austin K.Griffen in relation to a duplication of payment of
lot 102, map of Waverly Subdivision of Grand Park for the
year 1907. It was ordered that the communication be received
filed with the Supervisor and
Upon motion by Justice Collins, seconded
by Justice Boyd, it was
Resolved, that Counsellor Gamble be and
he hereby is authorized and directed to
prepare the proper resolution whereby
the Supervisor be authorized and empower-
ed to make refund of amount of duplicate
payment of tax.
The Clerk called the roll and all members present voted
in the affirmative.
A communication was received from Mr. G. H. Harlach
in relation to the appointment of Messrs Lighte and Palmer as
Inspectors of the Fourth Election District. Same was ordered
noted in the minutes and filed with the Supervisor.
It was regularly moved and seconded that we now
proceed to appoint Inspectors of the various Election Districts
in accordance with Section 311 of the Election Law.
First District
Republican Party:- Santi Lanza and Milan D. Robinett
Democratic " Frank Coles and Charles Caputo.
Second District.
Republican Party: Charles Palmer and Ralph Jennings
Democratic " Awrey Harris and William F. Anthes Jr.
Third District
Republican Party: William D. Daymon and Ray Titus
Democratic " Harbeck Mills and John McMahon
Fourth District
Republican Party Harry Schwartz and Ralph Cheney
Democratic " Charles Lighte and William I. Palmer
Fifth District
Republican Party Howell F. Dobbs and Geo. Butterfield
Democratic " Mrs. Brennan and Geo. McKeand.
Sixth District
Republican Party: Eugune D.Wakeman and Dennis Bohan
Democratic Party Cornelius Fitzsimmons and Lester Faurot.
It was regularly moved and seconded
that the Clerk be authorized and
directed to take the necessary action
to have the booths and polling places
placed in proper order.
No further business coming before the Board, the
meeting adjourned at 11.15 P.M.
