Mamaroneck, held May 13th, 1919.
Supervisor Burton called the meeting to order at
8:55 P.M.
The Clerk reported the following present : Supervisor
Burton, Justices Boyd, Collins, Dudley and Shafer, J.C.
Fairchild, Clerk, Dr. W. E. Bullard, Health Officer, R. A.
Gamble, Counsel.
Upon motion the reading of the minutes of the meetings
not yet approved was dispensed with.
Dr. W. E. Bullard presented his report, which was read
and upon motion ordered filed.
Upon motion it was
RESOLVED, that Dr. Bullard be authorized and empowered
to procure suitable signs prohibiting the dumping of ashes
and garbage upon any property other than authorized dumping
grounds.
Upon motion of Dr. Bullard, seconded by Justice Collins,
it was
RESOLVED:
- WHEREAS the Health Officer of the Town of Mamaroneck
has brought to the attention of this Board that in his judgment
a Health Nurse, in addition to the one heretofore provided,
should be employed, and
WHEREAS the said Health Officer recommends that such
additional Health Nurse be employed and that an appropriation
be made by this Board for said purpose; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that an additional a propriation of
$300.00 for the fiscal year be, made for the purpose of employ-
ing a Health Nurse within the Town of Mamaroneck in accor-
dance with the provisions of Section 210 of the Public Health
law of the State of New York.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned at 9:40 P.M.
