Minutes of the June 8, 1987 meeting approved.
Handicapped Parking - Murray Avenue & No. Chatsworth Avenue. The Traffic
Committee recommended that handicapped spaces be established as follows:
4/5 spaces - a. One ( 1) corner or 172 Myrtle Boulevard near Plaza Pharmacy
b. Two (2) on Chatsworth Ave. near break between 14 and 16
c. Two (2) on Murray Avenue (closest to No. Chatsworth Ave. )
Place on August Town Board agenda
Notify Mr. Heide
Truck Parking - Lester Place - Problem existing on Fifth Ave.
Trucks obstructing the view. Police Dept. will upgrade enforcement. (Call
Frank Webers again) refer to Traffic Committee recommendation.
Rockland Ave. - No Parking near Badger Day Camp
Extend all parking ordinances as per Chief Baumblatt's diagram.
Get copy of memo
Deferred to August meeting for further investigation.
Update - Burton Road
No summonses have been issued recently.
Replace "NO THRU TRAFFIC" sign at driveway.
Have Jake talk to manager about deliveries on Burton Road.
Hickory Grove Dr. and Ellsworth Ave.- Ned Ryan updated Traffic Committee
on his research of Village and Town Law.
Coughlin Application - Site Plan Traffic Committee wants to see the de-
veloper design a lot without the loss of street parking.
Did not like either A-6 or S-2.
Next meeting - August 17 , 1987 in Senior Center - 8:00 P.M.
