Member Reports
- Several members of the Committee inquired about the No Parking signs that were removed on Harmon
Avenue. The signs were on the south side of the street from Revere Road to the Mamaroneck Town Line.
The Committee agreed that this should be researched to see if parking is permissible and if they
should be replaced.
- The Committee discussed placing signs on N. Chatsworth Avenue between the thruway bridge and the
intersection with Myrtle Boulevard to let motorists know that the road widens into three lanes. As
motorists approach this intersection it is difficult for them to identify the three individual
lanes. The result is a confusing and disorderly situation. The Committee agreed that this matter
should be the subject for future discussions.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:38 p.m.
The next scheduled Traffic Committee meeting will be held on September 15, 1998.
