reviewed the correspondence of Margaret Mirabella in connection with the crosswalk on Palmer Avenue at

approval of the Westchester County Department of Public Works because Palmer Avenue is a County road.

The recommendation is that a three hour parking 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.Monday through Friday ordinance be
established on the south side of Boston Post Road between Dillon Road and the Larchmont Diner.
3. Correspondence from Patricia Konvalinka, re: Ms. Konvalinka wrote to the Traffic Committee
and expressed concern with respect to traffic speeding on Washington Square. Her letter indicated that
vehicles use Washington Square as a short cut to the 1-95 entrance ramp.. She requests a speed bump to
slow traffic on Washington Square. The Traffic Committee decided that a speed bump was not in order at
this location. It has been the Committee's practice not to recommend the use of speed bumps for speed
control. The Town Administrator was directed to notify Ms. Konvalinka of the Traffic Committee's decision.
