A regular meeting of the Town of Mamaroneck Traffic Committee was held at 8:00 PM in the Courtroom at the
Mamaroneck Town Center, located at 740 West Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, NY, 10543 on Jan. 29, 2003.
Members Present:
David Lobl, Chairman
Nancy Angiullo
Don Derrico
Richard Mari
Camille Odierna
Roz Weinstein.
Others Present:
Stephen Altieri Town Administrator
Lt. John Anderson Town of Mamaroneck Police Department

Old Business:
1. Approval of December 17, 2002 minutes.
Motion by David Lobl and second by Richard Mari. Minutes approved.
2. Traffic Control- Rockland Avenue.
Deferred to February agenda.
3. Huguenot Drive-Commuter Parking.
- Committee reviewed the matter raised at the last meeting regarding commuter parking on
Huguenot near North Chatsworth Avenue.
- Committee reviewed original letter from Mr. & Mrs. Harris.
- Discussion between the Committee and residents regarding this subject.
- Concern was raised by some residents that the parking restriction poses an imposition on
The use of street by the residents.
- Recommendation of Committee to Town Board "No Parking on Huguenot Drive East Side"
10:00 a.m .- 11:00 a.m., West Side 2:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m.
New Business
1. Correspondence from Nancy Diamond.
The Traffic Committee has decided not to take further action at this time. Work to revise the
report of the Parking Task Force. There is also concern over the impact on the business district.
2. Correspondence from Susie Joyce.
- Murray Avenue School. Issue of a blinking light to be installed at the location. Discussion of
the budgeting impact of blinking lights.
- Installation of School Zone signs in Northbound direction.
- Develop a cost estimate for the installation of a blinking light as per recommendation.
- The Traffic Committee recommends that the Town Board investigate the installation of blinking light.
The next scheduled Traffic Committee meeting will be held on February 25, 2003.
