A regular meeting of the Town of Mamaroneck Traffic Committee was held on January 11th
2005, in the Senior Center at Mamaroneck Town Center located at 740 West Boston Post
Road, Mamaroneck, New York, 10543.
Members Present:
David Lobl
Camille Odierna
Ronald Meister
Donald Derrico
Others Present:
Stephen Altieri -Town Administrator
Judith Myers - Town of Mamaroneck Councilwoman
Michael Cindrich - Town of Mamaroneck Police Department
Old Business:
1. Approval of Minutes for November 30th, 2004. Approved as amended.
2. Overnight Parking Exemption. Deferred to next Traffic Committee meeting.
3. Traffic Safety Improvements - Colonial Avenue. Discussion of Alternatives to improve
traffic safety other than a sidewalk.

The Committee will investigate the idea of eliminating some parking on Colonial Avenue
near Daymon Terrace. Members of the Traffic Committee will go to the area and return at
the next meeting with a specific recommendation. Place on the next Traffic Committee
meeting agenda.
New Business:
1 . Correspondence from Bonnie DeVito, Murray Avenue PTA re: Stop Sign on Murray
Avenue and Homer Avenue. The Traffic Committee reviewed the correspondence. There is
a question as to the practicality of the stop sign at this location. At this time, there is no further
action on this matter. As per the direction of the Traffic Committee, the sign on Murray
Avenue in the flashing School Zone light is to be changed to 15 mph.
The Next Traffic Committee Meeting will be held February 8, 2005
