prohibited permanently and that Preston Street be made one way towards Myrtle

2. Alternative —Traffic Control Device — Intersection of Dudley Road and Fenimore 1
Road
This matter has to do with an issue raised by the residents regarding limited site
distance when exiting Dudley Road onto Fenimore Road. As a possible solution
the Town installed rumble strips on Fenimore Road as an added warning to
motorists of an upcoming hidden street. The rumble strips became a noise issue 11
for a local resident on Fenimore Road and as a result the strips were removed. i f
11 The Traffic Committee deferred this matter to the next agenda and requested
accident data for the intersection of Dudley Road and Fenimore Road.
3. Correspondence — Ronalie Zackman Re: Traffic Congestion at Daymon Terrace
and Senate Place
1j
The issue here is the congestion at this location particularly during the school
day. Various residents appeared at the meeting to voice their opinions on the
matter. •
Susan Gedan of Senate Place expressed concern regarding the access of
emergency vehicles.
Arthur Hoffman of Senate Place also expressed concern on this matter I
particularly with respect to the narrowness of Daymon Terrace with cars parked
on both sides of the street.
The Traffic Committee has asked that the Town's emergency services be asked
to review this location. 11
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned. The next meeting is
scheduled for January 16, 2007
