HomeMy WebLinkAbout1993_08_12 Housing Authority Minutes C MEETING MINUTES AUGUST 12 , 1993 The meeting was called to order at 8 : 35 PM by Barry Weprin, Vice - Chairman. The meeting was held in Conference Room A in the Mamaroneck Town Hall. Mamaroneck Housing Authority members in attendance were: ▪ Barry Weprin, Vice - Chairman • Mary Regina Carlson • Jeffrey Marston ▪ Susan Sidel. Visitors and staff in attendance were: Ed Lieberman, Counsel to the Authority Elaine Price, Town Councilwoman Steve Altieri, Town Administrator Tom Rothman, Bond Counsel Frank McKenna, Bond Underwriter Richard Tortola, Financial Advisor. Resolution 93-16 appointing Jeffrey L. Marston as Secretary. Moved by Susan Sidel; seconded by Barry Weprin; passed: 3-0. There was extended discussion regarding the bonds for the construction of the Hommocks Park Apartments and related costs and funds. There was discussion of the contract for Fiscal Agent. There was discussion of the Purchase Contract for the bonds. Resolution 93-17 authorizing the issuance and sale of bonds in the aggregate amount of $4, 645, 000 for the construction of the Hommocks Park Apartments and related costs; authorizing and approving the Fiscal Agent Acrreement with M & T Bank to act as the Authority's fiscal agent in connection with the bonds; authorizing and approving the Eond Purchase Contract with Glickenhaus & Co to act as underwriter and purchaser of the bonds; approving the form, substance and distribution of the Official Statement in connection with the sale of the bonds; and, approving the form of the bonds. Moved by Mary Regina Carlson; seconded by Susan Sidel ; passed: 4-0. Resolution 93-18 authorizing the Chairman or Vice-Chairman to enter into an indemnification agreement with the Town of Mamaroneck.
