NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
TOWN BOARD
TOWN OF MAMARONECK
Pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Town
Law, I hereby call a Special Meeting of the Town
Board, to be held at the home of Councilman
Thomas R. Amlicke, 60 Maple Hill Drive, Town
of Mamaroneck, at 11:00 A.M. on Sunday, August
15, 1982, to set a date for a Public Hearing
to consider the adoption of a resolution enabling
the Town of Mamaroneck to grant partial exemption
from Town taxes, except District taxes, to the
extent of 50 percent of the assessed valuation
of the real property owned by certain persons
with limited income who are sixty-five years of
age or over pursuant to the provisions of
Section 467 of the Real Property Tax Law, as
amended by Chapter 475 of the Laws of 1982,
provided such persons meet the requirements set
forth in said Section 467 as so amended.

We, the undersigned, hereby waive all notice of
the attached NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING called
by Deputy Supervisor Bloom on August 14, 1982
to be held on August 15, 1982 and consent that
this meeting shall be held as stated therein.

MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK,
HELD ON THE 15TH DAY OF AUGUST 1982
AT THE HOME OF COUNCILMAN THOMAS R.
AMLICKE, 60 MAPLE HILL DRIVE, TOWN OF
MAMARONECK.
Present were the following:
Deputy Supervisor Lee H. Bloom
Councilman Thomas R. Amlicke
Councilman Stewart J. McMillan
Councilwoman Caroline Silverstone
Supervisor Leo Goldsmith, Jr. was absent due to illness.
The meeting was called to order at 11:00 A.M. by Deputy Supervisor
Bloom who noted that the meeting was being held pursuant to notice
and waiver and stated that the purpose of the meeting was to set
a Public Hearing to consider the adoption of a resolution enabling
the Town of Mamaroneck to grant a partial exemption from Town
taxes, except District taxes, to the extent of 50 percent of
the assessed valuation of the real property owned by certain
persons of limited income who are sixty-five years of age or
over pursuant to the provisions of Section 467 of the Real Property
Tax Law, as amended by Chapter 475 of the Laws of 1982, provided
such persons meet the requirements set forth in said Section 467
as so amended.
Thereupon, on motion by Councilwoman Silverstone, seconded by
Councilman Amlicke, it was unanimously
RESOLVED, that a Public Hearing be held
on Tuesday August 24 at 7:30 P.M. in the
Council Room of the Weaver Street Firehouse,
Weaver Street, Town of Mamaroneck, to
consider the adoption of a resolution
enabling the Town of Mamaroneck to grant a
partial exemption from Town Taxes, except
District taxes, to the extent of 50 percent
of the assessed valuation of the real property
owned by certain persons with limited income
who are sixty-five years of age or over,
pursuant to the provisions of Section 467 of
the Real Property Tax Law, as amended by
Chapter 475 of the laws of 1982, provided
such persons meet the requirements set forth
in said section 467 as so amended.
Thereafter, on motion duly made and seconded, the meeting was
declared adjourned at 11:10 A.M.

Town of Mamaroneck, at 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday,
August 24, 1982, to consider the adoption of a
resolution enabling the Town of Mamaroneck to
grant a partial exemption from Town taxes,
except District taxes, to the extent of 50
percent of the assessed valuation of the real
property owned by certain persons with limited
income who are sixty-five years of age or over
pursuant to the provisions of Section 467 of the
Real Property Tax Law, as amended by chapter 475
of the laws of 1982, provided such persons meet
the requirements set forth in said Section 467
as so amended.
