MEETING OF THE' TOWN BOARD
TOINK OF MAMARONECK
held April 24th, 1925.
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor
Burton, at 9 o° clock P.M.
PRESENT : Supervisor Burton
Justices Boyd and Shafer
Town Clerk Sherman
Counsellor Gamble
Upon motion, it was voted to dispense with the
reading of the minutes of meetings not yet approved.
Supervisor reported that he had received a
request from the Men' s Club of Larchmor.t, requesting
permission to use the auditorium floor of the fire build-
ing on May 26th, 1.925.
Upon motion, duly seconded, it was
RESOLVED, that the request of the
Ten' s Club of Larchmont for the use
of the auditorium floor in the Weaver
Street Fire House for May 26th, 1925,
be and the same is granted.
A general discussion of fire matters was then
had and after due consideration, the following resolution
was duly presented., and upon Roll Call, unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk be and
he hereby is authorized and directed
to notify Captain Birch of the Weaver
Street Fire Company, that by resolut-
ion of this Town Board, he is directed
to immediately notify the paid men at
the Weaver Street Fire House, that
hereafter until further notice, they
are to take complete care of the entire
building and grounds of said Fire House
and keep and maintain same in condition
satisfactory to the Town Board .
This order to take effect immediately.
The Clerk reported that it was necessary to have
the auditorium floor cleaned and some furniture moved thereto
and asked that the expense incurred thereby be approved.
Upon motion, duly seconded, it was, upon, Roll Call :
RESOLVED, that the cost of cleaning the
auditorium floor of the FfDre House in
the sum of $20.00 and the claim for the
moving of furniture thereto, be and the
same hereby is approved and the Board of
Auditors are requested to audit said
claim upon the presentation of proper
vouchers therefore.
Upon motion,, the meeting a journed a 11 : 20 o' clock
